Trend Log

Trend Log is a BACnet object used to collect and store historical time-series data from building systems, such as temperature readings, energy consumption, equipment states, or occupancy conditions. Trend logs enable operators to analyze performance over time, support diagnostics, and validate operational or energy efficiency initiatives.

MultiTech enhances the value of BACnet trend logging by supplying reliable, high-quality data from wireless IoT sensors directly into the BACnet environment. Through MultiTech gateways, LoRaWAN® sensor data is exposed as native BACnet objects that can be trended by existing BMS platforms without custom integration.

This allows facility teams and integrators to extend historical visibility to new locations and assets, supporting analysis, reporting, and optimization while using familiar BACnet tools and workflows.
