Schedule & Calendar Objects

Schedule and Calendar Objects are BACnet objects used to define time-based automation behaviors within a building automation system, such as HVAC operating schedules, lighting cycles, or occupancy-based control strategies. Schedule objects determine when specific actions or setpoints should be applied, while calendar objects define exceptions such as holidays or special operating days. MultiTech complements these automation capabilities by supplying additional sensor data that enhances how schedules and calendars are applied.

By integrating wireless LoRaWAN® sensors into BACnet/IP as native objects, MultiTech gateways provide building systems with greater situational awareness, allowing schedules to be informed by actual environmental and operational conditions rather than static assumptions.
