Priority Array
Priority Array is a core BACnet mechanism used to manage and resolve conflicts when multiple commands are issued to the same object or control point. Each command is assigned a priority level, and the highest active priority determines the effective value, ensuring predictable and safe system behavior across automated control, operator overrides, and safety functions.
MultiTech respects and preserves this BACnet control hierarchy when integrating wireless IoT data into building automation systems. By presenting LoRaWAN® sensor data as standard BACnet objects and properties, MultiTech gateways allow that data to participate appropriately in control logic and decision-making without disrupting existing priority structures.
This standards-aligned approach helps integrators maintain control integrity while expanding automation capabilities with additional sensing and insight.
